i, um, "reinvestigate" things a lot, even after the final version is done, and this usually involves a lot of seam ripping and resewing. i thought i'd share a little tip i use to quickly get rid of all the leftover threads after the seam has been ripped.
first off: rip out that seam--it's been asking for it. then, press it flat. then, put a piece of masking tape along where all the thread trimmings are. make sure to press down really well--i often use a point turner to really get all the little pieces.
then, just pull the tape up! it's not 100% but it will definitely cut your "picking out all the little fucking threads" time in half.
voila! nice and clean and ready to be re-sewn!
