older work

in addition to adding new categories for embroidery work and costumes i was thinking i might include a gallery of some of the stuff that i did before i started making the quilts.

unfortunately, all of the pictures i have of the large installation/sculptures i made are really random, and aren't "clean" images that would be ready to show.  so i've spent a couple of hours everyday flexing my photoshop skillz getting the images at least up to a point where there's not dirty underwear on the ground next to the art.

this is a "command center" i made in my room in one of the places i lived in brooklyn.  it was actually pretty handy: on the lower left was a drawer with a hanging file, the bottom row of pictures actually flipped up and i could hide my computer behind the false front, and the top cabinets held most of my books at the time.

there's also a "power generator" and a walkie-talkie, and maybe some other stuff.  we'll see what else i can dig out of the vault.
